Dr. Tamaya Trejo - Managing Veterinarian

Dr. Trejo is a 2013 graduate of Colorado State University, where she earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.

Her areas of special interest include compassionate patient care, preventative medicine, dentistry, geriatric pain management, the clinical use of ultrasound, urgent care, and soft tissue surgery. She brings a diverse background to her role, with experience in both surgery and emergency medicine at a referral facility, as well as in general practice, prior to her current position as Medical Director at North Beaverton Pet Hospital.

A lifelong animal lover, Dr. Trejo lives in Sherwood with her husband, their two daughters, and their cats, Katniss Everdeen and President Snow. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to romantic audiobooks, dreaming of world travel and horseback riding, snorkeling and swimming, singing karaoke with her kids at church, and hiking.
